Articles of Faith.

"I believe it doesn't take much to make people pay attention to a car cash, and the best theatre makes entertainment out of action, not just reaction. I believe the most under appreciated skill in theatre is pacing, so whether you like my plays or not they won't waste your time. I believe whoever coined the phrase 'larger than life' didn't get out of the house much, so when a piece is called larger than life it's probably on the right track. I believe in rhythm, patter, patterns, momentum and that when used in combination they can cast a hypnagogic spell over an audience. I believe it's a miracle that people subject themselves to relating to characters going through Hell, no matter how entertaining it is. I believe writers who think everything they write is precious will be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

I believe theatre professionals are the alchemists of our age.

Thank you for your time, be sure to tip your waitresses."
